Earth Days were the worst days now we drink ...

Tip left to go to JazzFest. KFish had the day off so we decided the best way to celebrate Earth Day was to starting drinking at noonish and then head to Sundown in the City, which takes place in Market Square in Knoxville. KFish is all jealous of my cool Sam Adams margarita glass.
We went to the courtyard cafe for our first drinks of the day due to the MegaTouch. We put in $5 and went to town. Only downpart was that they didn't have Nekkid Photohunt. :(
She was practicing the new name.
Next stop was Sidestreet Tavern. I wanted hear Human and I put on another song but don't remember which one. Although i do know that I was digging the music even though KFish probably wasnt.
Go Vols. On the Strip in Knoxville.
Arriving at Sundown in the City. We went to P-Pub to get some drinks.
Masses.
We love standing on the side of the stage.

Nama for sushi and beers and sake. yum.

Sake!!!!!

After Nama, we heading back to Market Square to see Superdrag. They were entertaining. We left downtown to go home around 9ish. I was sleeping by 945. haha. It was a great Earth Day. We tried to be as green as possible all day. haha.

Boone, NC for P-Groove

On Tuesday (4-20) at 1:30 am, I departed LA for 2 weeks to go to Knoxville and Charleston. Those cities were the primary destinations. Knoxville to hang out with KFish for the week before her nuptials and Charleston the destination for the wedding. I landed in Memphis at 7:30 am Central Time. I changed planes and landed in Knoxville at 11 am Eastern. KFish picked me up and we got BBQ. yum. I went back to the house with the good intention of napping because that night we were heading to Boone, NC to see a Perpetual Groove show. (Please refer to one of my earlier posts regarding PGroove) I decided to turn on the TV to fall asleep to. Well that was a mistake. (Un)Fortunately there was a 16 and pregnant marathon on. I couldn't turn away from it for 6 hours and even when Tip was like we have to go to the show, I was mad I couldn't finish watching the one show. Dang. So no sleep for me. We picked up KFish and drove 3 hours to Boone, NC. It was a pretty awesome little town. Stayed at the Hampton Inn. The venue we went to see the show at was on campus (ASU- not Arizona but Appalacian), therefore they didn't serve alcohol but you could bring your own 6 pack. Also the venue was in an old Winn Dixie. Pretty cool.
The Hippies (I mean the college kids) waiting for the show.
KFish's Jescoe cozee along with our punch card that we got for our 6 packs. Also, when I got carded walking in the door, the doorguy who must have been all of 18 or 19 was from Long Island. So I got sucked into a convo (but not really cuz I love talking about LI- haha)
Where we dropped off our 6 packs.
"Backstage" at the show.
KFish and I with the band behind us.
The happy couple. Tip and Kristen.
The crowd wanting more. Encore. Encore.
I was watching some of the Suns game near this side of the stage so I decided to take a picture. They last longer you know.

LA Livin...

Most of you know already but I am posting it nonetheless. I live in LA now. This East Coaster has now become a West Coaster. It all started with the 2010 Census. I'll post pics of the apartment at a later date. I want everyone to come and visit. Also, if you have friends out in LA, I need numbers people. Don't let me down. Love Love Love.

Lord bless Charlie Mops, the man who invented beer beer beer tiddly beer beer beer.

St Pats Day. It was a glorious day. I went to Robert Moses to read a book for a bit and enjoy the gorgeous day. The water was still really high from the storm. There was hardly any beach left.
Andrea came to meet me and enjoy the weather.
We had no idea what this could be. It was soft and spongy.
Andrea was a good friend and brought a 6 pack of Blue Point. Yum.
Seems like someone else was enjoying alcoholic beverages. Who knows why she was drinking in the bathroom but who am I to judge.
Nothing says St Patricks Day like a dinner at Kotobuki. Yum sake bombs and fried oysters. amazing.
This is our sushi for one. It can feed a whole army. this picture makes my mouth water.
After dinner we went to the Post Office to get some more drinks. While we were there a Pipes and Drum band came in to play. AWESOME!!!!
This kid said this was the only green shirt he owned. seriously? a stop and shop shirt. i thought it was pretty athletic that he actually wore it out.
Matt, Me and Sam enjoying our St Pats.
